RAMALLAH, June 9, 2017 (WAFA) – Weather on Friday is abundantly sunny and hot to very hot and temperatures are set to remain about six degrees Celsius above the seasonal average, said the Palestinian Meteorological Department (PMD).

Wind is northwesterly and light to moderate. Sea waves are low.

Temperatures are set to significantly drop and approach the seasonal average on Saturday with partly cloudy to clear and pleasant conditions.

PMD expects temperatures to slightly rise and become slightly above the seasonal average on Sunday with sunny conditions in mountainous areas and relatively hot conditions in the Jordan Valley.

Mainly sunny and clear conditions are expected to prevail on Monday with steady temperatures.

PMD warns people against direct exposure to sunlight for long period, especially during peak hours between 11:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
