Israel detains lawmaker, minor from Hebron

RAMALLAH, November 28, 2016 (WAFA) – The Israeli military detained early Monday Azzam Salhab, a lawmaker from Hebron, the son of another lawmaker and a 13-year-old, according to the Palestinian Prisoner’s Society.

It said in a statement that Israeli forces raided several homes in Hebron in the south of the West Bank where it arrested the lawmaker, in addition to five other residents, including 13-year-old Islam Deeb Masalmeh and Anas, son of lawmaker Hatem Qfeishe.

In addition to the Hebron raids and detention, Israeli forces detained another seven Palestinians in overnight raids in Bethlehem, Ramallah, Jericho and Jerusalem district, said the Prisoner‘s Society.
