NEW YORK, September 19, 2016 (WAFA) – President Mahmoud Abbas arrived in New York late Sunday to attend the 71st meeting of the United Nations General Assembly.
The President, heading a high level Palestinian delegation, is expected to address a plenary session of the General Assembly when the general debate opens on Tuesday.
Abbas arrived in New York coming from Venezuela where he attended a summit for the Non-Aligned Movement.
