JERUSALEM, April 21, 2016 (WAFA) – Israeli forces overnight and Wednesday evening detained four Palestinians, including a 14-year-old child, during dawns into a number of West Bank districts, said security sources and detainees’ parents.
Israeli forces detained a Palestinian after storming and ransacking the interiors of a black smithy workshop during a night raid into Abu Dis town, southeast of Jerusalem. The detainee was not identified.
Police also detained a Palestinian child after storming his father’s car showroom in the Jerusalem neighborhood of Shu‘fat.
Jamal Idris said that police detained his 14-year-old son, Majd, purportedly for hurling stones at the light rail train.
To the south of Jerusalem, in Bethlehem district, forces detained a Palestinian during a predawn raid into Tuqu‘ town, southeast of Bethlehem city.
The detainee was identified as Ahmad Suleiman, 18.
They also broke into and ransacked the interiors of the family house of Khaled Taqatqa during a predawn raid into Beit Fajjar town, reportedly searching for his brother, Ali.
Meanwhile, forces detained a Palestinian while he was attempting to cross a flying checkpoint near the northern West Bank city of Tulkarem.
The detainee was identified as Kamal al-Almani, 19, from Jenin refugee camp.
