Six civilians killed and others injured in Israeli occupation’s bombing of west Gaza City

GAZA, July 24, 2025 (WAFA) –  Six citizens were killed and others injured early Saturday morning in an Israeli airstrike west of Gaza City.

WAFA correspondents reported, citing medical sources, that four citizens were killed and others were injured as a result of the Israeli airstrike on an apartment building in the Rimal neighborhood.

The same sources announced the killing of Mohammed Riyad Foura and his wife, Jumana Aref Foura, when debris from a building collapsed on their tent after it was targeted in Gaza.

They indicated that a number of those injured, waiting for aid, arrived at Al-Shifa Medical Complex in Gaza City after being directly shot in the Al-Waha area.

Meanwhile, Israeli fighter jets are launching a series of airstrikes targeting various areas of the Shuja'iyya neighborhood east of Gaza City.

Since October 7, 2023, the Israeli occupation forces have launched an assault on the Gaza Strip, resulting in the killing of 59,676 civilians, the majority of whom were children and women, and the injury of 143,965 others.

The occupation also commits horrific massacres against those waiting for aid, who are exposed daily to the risk of death due to indiscriminate fire and direct targeting.

The number of Palestinians who have been killed since the implementation of the aid distribution points mechanism on May 27, 2005, has exceeded 1,000, with hundreds more injured.

Thus, the aid distribution centers of the Israeli-American "Gaza Humanitarian Relief Foundation," a UN-rejected organization, have become traps for mass killings, in addition to the deliberate violation of citizens' dignity and their forced displacement amid catastrophic humanitarian conditions.
