HEBRON, July 25, 2025 (WAFA) – Israeli occupation forces opened fire at a young Palestinian man on Friday near the southern West Bank city of Hebron, injuring him with live ammunition. His medical condition remains unknown.
Security and local sources said the young man was shot near the illegal colonial settlement of Shama’a, built illegally on lands belonging to the towns of ad-Dhahiriya and as-Samu, south of Hebron.
Following the attack, the Israeli army declared the area a closed military zone and heavily reinforced its presence at the scene.
