TULKAREM,
December 10, 2015 (WAFA) – Israeli forces overnight detained 31 Palestinians,
including four minors, from West Bank districts, said the Palestine
Prisoner's Society (PPS) and security sources.
Israeli
forces detained 10 Palestinians from Tulkarem district, seven from Jerusalem
district, seven from Hebron district, three from Jenin district, two from
Ramallah district, one from Bethlehem district and another from Jericho
district.
Israeli
forces detained ten Palestinians from the northern West Bank district of
Tulkarem.
They
were identified as Ibrahim, 20, and Muhammad ‘Amar, Nimer
Ibrahim, 16, Ibrahim Youssef, 22, ‘Omar, 20, and ‘Amer al-Ashqar,
Muhammad Saruji, Ahmad Hamed, 22, ‘Ala’ Khalid and Mahmoud Farajallah.
In Jerusalem district, Israeli
police detained three Palestinians identified as, Fahmi and Ahmad
Salymeh, 16, and Ashraf Burqan, 18, after breaking into and
ransacking their families’ houses in the Jerusalem neighborhood of ath-Thuri,
south of Al-Aqsa Mosque compound.
Police also raided Qalandiya refugee
camp, north of Jerusalem, where they detained Ibrahim Zayed after
breaking into and ransacking his house.
This came several hours after
undercover Israeli units detained a Palestinian minor in the vicinity of
Qalandiya military checkpoint. The detainee was identified as 15-year-old Sayf
Abu Ltifa.
Police
also detained two other Palestinians, according to a statement from Palestine
Prisoners Society. They were identified as Malik Naser, and Nasim Qleib
(or Klieb), 17.
Meanwhile in the southern West Bank
district of Hebron, forces detained Ahmad Abu Sneineh, 16, at the military
checkpoint of Abu al-Rish in the southern section of Hebron city.
This came several hours after forces
detained a Palestinian identified as Saleh al-Rajabi, 30, after
storming and searching his house in Hebron city.
Another Palestinian identified as
‘Ubaida Abu Sbeiha, 21, was detained as forces stormed his house during a raid
into Yatta town, south of Hebron.
Furthermore, another Palestinian
identified as ‘Imad Abu al-Jadayel, 21, was detained as forces raided As-Samou‘
town, south of Hebron.
The detention raid came several
hours after forces detained a Palestinian from al-Fawwar refugee camp, south of
Hebron on Wednesday evening.
Soldiers stationed at al-Container
military checkpoint detained Muhammad Az-Zida, 20, while he was travelling to
his hometown.
Two more Palestinians were detained
from Hebron district. They were identified in a press release issued by
PPS as Ahmad Badawi and Muhammad Adh-Dhiba.
In the meantime, three Palestinians
were detained from the northern West Bank city of Jenin. Israeli police
detained the three men, who were not identified, from the northern Israeli city
of Afula.
Furthermore, two more Palestinians
were detained from the central West Bank district of Ramallah. The
detainees were identified as ‘Ala’ al-Tamimi, from Nabi Saleh village, and
Muhammad Tafesh.
Furthermore, forces detained a
Palestinian identified as ‘Abed Masalmeh from the southern West Bank city of
Bethlehem.
Another Palestinian identified as
Ahmad Drai‘at was detained from Jericho.
