RAMALLAH,
December 10, 2015 (WAFA) – Israeli forces overnight and Wednesday evening
detained 11 Palestinians, including two minors, from West Bank districts, said
security sources.
Israeli
police detained two Palestinians identified as, Ahmad Salymeh, a minor,
and Ashraf Burqan, 18, after breaking into and ransacking their families’
houses in the Jerusalem neighborhood of ath-Thuri, south of Al-Aqsa Mosque
compound.
Police
also raided Qalandiya refugee camp, north of Jerusalem, where they
detained Ibrahim Zayed after breaking into and ransacking his
house.
This
came several hours after undercover Israeli units detained a Palestinian minor
in the vicinity of Qalandiya military checkpoint. The detainee was identified
as 15-year-old Sayf Abu Ltifa.
Meanwhile
in the southern West Bank district of Hebron, forces detained three
Palestinians during predawn raids into a Hebron neighborhood and two towns.
Forces
detained a Palestinian identified as Saleh al-Rajabi, 30, after
storming and searching his house in Hebron city.
Forces
also raided Yatta town, south of Hebron, where they detained a Palestinian
after storming his house. The detainee was identified as ‘Ubaida Imhaimid,
20.
Furthermore,
another Palestinian identified as ‘Imad Abu al-Jadayel, 21, was detained as
forces raided As-Samou‘ town, south of Hebron.
The
detention raid came several hours after forces detained a Palestinian from
al-Fawwar refugee camp, south of Hebron on Wednesday evening.
Soldiers
stationed at al-Container military checkpoint detained Muhammad Az-Zida, 20,
while he was travelling to his hometown.
In the
meantime, three Palestinians were detained from the northern West Bank city of
Jenin.
Israeli
police detained the three men, who were not identified, from the northern
Israeli city of Afula.
