HEBRON, September 17, 2014 (WAFA) – Israeli army on Wednesday arrested seven Palestinians in the West Bank districts of Hebron and Tubas, while police arrested two minors in the Jerusalem Arab neighborhood of Issawiya, according to local and security sources.

In Hebron, army forces stormed the village of Bani Naim in the predawn hours and arrested three Palestinians, including a released prisoner. Army also stormed the nearby village of Deir Samit, where they arrested a 57-year-old after raiding his house and sabotaging its furniture. The arrested Palestinians were led to an unknown destination.

Meanwhile, forces broke through the town of Idna, to the west of Hebron, and raided scrap workshops belonging to local residents. They further set checkpoints at the entrances of nearby villages, searching vehicles and checking passengers’ identity cards, causing a traffic jam.

Furthermore, at least three Palestinians were arrested by Israeli army in the northeastern West Bank district of Tubas, reported the Palestinian Prisoner’s Club.

In the meantime, Israeli police stormed Issawiya, on the outskirts of Jerusalem, and arrested two minors before leading them to the Russian Compound detention center. Police claimed that both minors took part in the burning incident of a gas station, owned by Israeli settlers, about a week ago.

Earlier at night, police raided the town of ar-Ram, to the north of Jerusalem, and arrested a Palestinian youngster.

Meanwhile in Bethlehem, Israeli army broke into Deheshe refugee camp and handed summons to two youngsters, both 19 years old, to appear for interrogation before the Israeli intelligence in Gush Etzion compound. Both were handed the summons after soldiers raided and searched their houses.
