RAMALLAH, June 3, 2026 (WAFA) – Israeli colonists on Wednesday evening torched Palestinians’ farmlands in the Burqa town, east of the occupied West Bank city of Ramallah, according to local sources.
They said that colonists set fire to a tract of the town farmland before the occupation forces stormed the surrounding area.
Colonists committed similar arson attacks in several villages and towns in the southern Nablus governorates, damaging large swaths of farmlands.
Meanwhile, colonists vandalized the sole pipeline supplying water to the Arab At-Tibneh Bedouin community near al-Khan al-Ahmar, east of Jerusalem, compounding the suffering of the community inhabitants.
The act of vandalism is viewed as part of a series of attacks against Bedouin communities, east of Jerusalem, as a means to forcibly displace them and seize their land to make room for Israel’s settler-colonial project.
