RAMALLAH, June 3, 2026 (WAFA) – President Mahmoud Abbas on Wednesday condemned Iranian attacks in a phone call with the Kuwait’s Crown Prince, Sheikh Sabah Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah.
President Abbas expressed the State of Palestine’s solidarity with and support for the brotherly Kuwaiti people and their wise leadership in the face of the recent Iranian attack, which resulted in dozens of injuries, wishing the wounded a speedy recovery.
He affirmed the State of Palestine's full support for all steps and measures taken by Kuwait to safeguard its security, stability and sovereignty, while stressing Palestine's firm and principled position rejecting any infringement on the security and stability of the sisterly Arab states, emphasizing that Arab security is indivisible.
The President asked the Crown Prince to convey his greetings and appreciation to the Amir of Kuwait, Sheikh Mishal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, and through him to the Kuwaiti government and people. He praised Kuwait's longstanding and steadfast positions in support of the Palestinian people and their legitimate rights to freedom and independence.
He also underscored the deep fraternal Palestinian-Kuwaiti ties and the State of Palestine's and its people's commitment to strengthening relations of brotherhood with the people of Kuwait.
