RAMALLAH, June 3, 2026 (WAFA) – An Israeli colonist seized water tanks from a Palestinian home in the town of Atara, north of Ramallah, on Wednesday, after removing them from the rooftop a bulldozer.
A video circulating online showed the colonist using a bulldozer to reach the roof of the house, where he removed the rooftops and took possession of them.
The attack is part of the ongoing violations committed by colonists against Palestinian residents and their property in the towns and villages of the Ramallah and al-Bireh Governorate, including damage to private property and infrastructure.
Colonists’ violence against Palestinians and their property is routine in the West Bank and is rarely prosecuted by Israeli authorities.
Colonists’ violence includes property and mosque arsons, stone-throwing, uprooting of crops and olive trees, and attacks on vulnerable homes, among others.
Approximately 1 million Israeli colonists are living in colonies in the West Bank and East Jerusalem in violation of international law.
