Commissioner for Human Rights, Navi Pillay Thursday condemned Israel’s
aggression on the Gaza strip, considering it a ‘deliberate defiance’ of
international law, according to Agence France-Presse (AFP)
Pillay condemned Israel’s attacks on homes,
schools, hospitals and UN institutions in Gaza, stating that, “none of these
acts seem accidental to me; it appears like a deliberate defiance of
obligations imposed on Israel by the international law.”
