JENIN, October 6, 2026 (WAFA) – Israeli occupation forces stormed the town of Ya'bad, southwest of Jenin, at dawn on Tuesday.
They raided several homes, detained a number of residents, and interrogated them on-site before releasing them.
Local sources told WAFA that occupation forces seized the home of Khaled Walid Abu Shamla, located at the town's entrance, and converted it into a military barracks. They informed the family that they would remain there until the following day, though they ultimately withdrew from the property later that morning.
The sources added that occupation forces raided several other homes, detained residents, and interrogated them for hours inside the house that had been converted into a barracks before releasing them.
Separately, foot patrols from the occupation army stormed the Khallet al-Soha and Jabal Abu Zahir areas of the city, conducting provocative patrols among residents' homes and obstructing the movement of schoolchildren.
