Israeli forces evict two families from their homes in Tulkarem, turn houses into military outposts

TULKARM, October 27, 2026 (WAFA) — Israeli forces on Tuesday forced two Palestinian residents and their families to evacuate their homes in the town of Far'un, south of Tulkarem, and converted the houses into military outposts, as they also raided the nearby southern suburb of Irtah.

Local sources said Israeli forces raided the homes of Abdul Fattah Hussein Awad and his son, Sameh, in Far'un, forcing both men and their families to leave. The forces informed them that they would not be allowed to return until Wednesday morning after turning the houses into military barracks.

The sources added that Israeli forces were heavily deployed throughout the town, particularly near the separation and annexation wall, among residential homes and close to the girls' school.

Meanwhile, Israeli forces raided the southern suburb of Irtah, south of Tulkarem, patrolled its streets and took up positions on Old Mosque Street. Soldiers threatened residents with their weapons and barred them from approaching areas where Israeli forces were stationed.
