NABLUS, October 27, 2026 (WAFA) — Israeli colonists on Tuesday detained a crew from Nablus Municipality as it worked to rehabilitate the road connecting the Askar area with the town of Asira al-Shamaliya.
Local sources said dozens of colonists attacked the municipal crew while it was carrying out road rehabilitation work, seized its equipment and prevented residents from using the road.
Israeli forces had earlier closed several gates and checkpoints surrounding the city of Nablus since the morning.
