RAMALLAH, October 27, 2026 (WAFA) — Israeli colonists on Tuesday attacked olive pickers in the village of Ein Yabrud, east of Ramallah, and attempted to force them off their agricultural land.
Local sources said a group of colonists attacked olive pickers on the outskirts of the village and tried to drive them away from their land. The colonists also carried out provocative patrols in the area and photographed residents using their mobile phones.
According to figures documented by the Wall and Settlement Resistance Commission, Israeli forces and colonists carried out a total of 62,916 attacks against Palestinians, their land and property across the occupied West Bank, including occupied Jerusalem, between October 7, 2023, and October 4, 2026. Of these, 48,174 were carried out by Israeli forces and 14,742 by colonists.
