Occupation forces raid Hebron-area village, and convert three homes into military barracks

HEBRON, October 6, 2026 (WAFA) – Israeli occupation forces raided the town of Bani Naim, east of Hebron, on Tuesday, searching several residents' homes and converting three of them into military barracks.

Local sources reported that occupation forces stormed the town, declared it a closed military zone, and deployed throughout its neighborhoods and streets. They raided and searched a number of homes and prevented students from reaching certain schools.

The Hebron governorate is witnessing an escalation in raids and military measures by occupation forces against residents—including the closure of roads and entrances, home raids, and the conversion of some houses into military outposts and barracks—as part of the occupation's ongoing measures in the West Bank.

According to data from the Wall and Settlement Resistance Commission, attacks by occupation forces and settlers continued throughout 2026 across various West Bank governorates. These included raids, detentions, and the closure of roads and facilities, alongside assaults on Palestinians and their property.
