RAMALLAH, October 5, 2026 (WAFA) – Terrorist colonists escalated their attacks today, Monday, against Palestinian farmers and the olive harvest season in several villages and towns across the Ramallah and Nablus governorates. They stole olives, assaulted trees and harvesters, and prevented them from continuing their work—part of a series of simultaneous attacks targeting citizens' lands and livelihoods.
In the village of Umm Safa, northwest of Ramallah, colonists stole olives from citizens' lands while simultaneously attacking the trees—beating them with sticks and damaging them.
Colonial militias also continued stealing the olive harvest in the town of Beita, south of Nablus. These attacks target farmers' lands and crops as part of a systematic policy to plunder the land and its produce, depriving the owners of the ability to benefit from them.
In the village of Taybeh, east of Ramallah, gangs of terrorist colonists attacked olive harvesters; residents reported that these gangs had already begun stealing olives in the area days ago.
Earlier today, terrorist colonists attacked olive harvesters in the Bab al-Jami' area, west of the town of Burqa, northwest of Nablus.
Local sources reported that colonists attacked farmers while they were harvesting olives in the area, preventing them from continuing their work. They also seized an agricultural tractor belonging to a farmer from the neighboring town of Bazariya. These attacks occur amidst escalating assaults by colonists against farmers and the olive harvest—particularly during the picking season—in an attempt to deny Palestinians access to their lands, seize their crops, and damage their trees, thereby threatening the livelihoods of thousands of Palestinian families.
The Commission Against the Wall and Settlements documents the rise in colonists' attacks on citizens, their property, and their agricultural lands, viewing these actions as part of a broader system of settlement expansion, land seizure, and the displacement of Palestinians, all carried out under the protection of Israeli occupation forces.
