CAIRO, August 6, 2026 (WAFA) – Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El Sisi and Bahraini King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa stressed on Thursday the unhindered flow of aid into the genocide-stricken Gaza Strip, according to Egypt’s State Information Service.

It stated that the two leaders stressed the need for all parties to commit to implementing the ceasefire agreement in the Gaza Strip, including ensuring the unhindered flow of humanitarian assistance.

They also stressed the need for creating room for early recovery and reconstruction efforts, and reaching a comprehensive and fair settlement based on UN resolutions and the two-state solution in such a way that ensures the establishment of an independent Palestinian state along the June 4, 1967 borders, with East Jerusalem as its capital.
