MAKKAH, April 7, 2026 (WAFA) - The Muslim World League (MWL) strongly condemned the storming of the courtyards of the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque by Israeli extremist minister Itamar Ben-Gvir, carried out under the protection of the occupation authorities.
In a statement issued by the MWL’s General Secretariat, Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulkarim Al-Issa, the Secretary-General of the MWL and Chairman of the Organization of Muslim Scholars, denounced this violation as a provocative act that fuels the sentiments of Muslims around the world.
He described it as a serious assault on the sanctity of Islamic holy sites, emphasizing the urgent need for the international community to uphold its moral and legal responsibilities and to take immediate action to halt such repeated violations.
