BEIRUT, April 5, 2026 (WAFA) – The number of slain Lebanese people in the Israeli aggression against Lebanon since March 2 has risen to 1,461.
The Lebanese Ministry of Public Health, in its daily report from the Health Emergency Operations Center on the developments of the aggression, stated this evening, Sunday, that the number of wounded has risen to 4,430.
Earlier today, Sunday, a Lebanese family was martyred as a result of an Israeli airstrike targeting the town of Kfar Matta in southern Lebanon.
Also this morning, Israeli warplanes attacked the town of Siddiqin in the Tyre district, resulting in the martyrdom of three citizens and several injuries.
The Israeli army renewed its warning to evacuate residents of the southern suburbs of Beirut, specifically the areas of Haret Hreik, Ghobeiri, Laylaki, Hadath, Burj al-Barajneh, Hawta al-Ghadir, and Chiyah.
Israeli warplanes and artillery targeted the towns of Shaqra, Beit Yahoun, Qounine, Al-Tayri, Qlawiya al-Haniya, Al-Mansouri, Zibqin, Al-Qalila, the outskirts of Al-Bayada, Yaroun, Maroun, Bint Jbeil, Beit al-Sayyad, and Burj Qlawiya in southern Lebanon.
According to the National News Agency, Israeli occupation forces detonated and demolished a number of houses in the border villages of Naqoura, Dibil, Alma al-Shaab, Al-Qouzah, Al-Bayada, and Shamaa, and burned and destroyed shops.
