RAMALLAH, March 12, 2026 (WAFA) – The Palestinian Presidency welcomed United Nations Security Council Resolution 2817, which condemns the unjustified Iranian attacks targeting several Arab countries.

In a statement issued on Thursday, the Presidency said the resolution represents an important step reflecting international consensus in rejecting Iranian aggression against Arab states and opposing any violation of their sovereignty, security, stability, and the safety of their citizens.

The Presidency reaffirmed the importance of respecting the rules of international law and international humanitarian law, and stressed the need to prioritize dialogue as a means to promote security and stability in the region and reduce regional tensions.

It also reiterated that the State of Palestine stands alongside brotherly Arab countries in confronting any attacks targeting their sovereignty and security, and supports all measures they take to protect their national security and the safety of their citizens.
