RAMALLAH, March 2, 2026 (WAFA) – President Abbas on Monday evening expressed his solidarity with Lebanon in the wake of the Israeli aggression.
In a phone call with his Lebanese counterpart, Joseph Aoun, President Abbas stated that the State of Palestine stands by the side of the brotherly state and people of Lebanon, affirming support for the sovereignty of Lebanon over all of its territory and rejection of all aggressions against it.
He reiterated his support to any steps taken by Lebanon to realize its interests and safeguard its security, lauding the historic bilateral Palestinian-Lebanese relations.
