RAMALLAH, March 1, 2026 (WAFA) – President of the State of Palestine Mahmoud Abbas held a phone call on Sunday evening with the King of the Kingdom of Bahrain Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa.

During the call, President Mahmoud Abbas reaffirmed the State of Palestine’s stance condemning the Iranian attacks on the Kingdom of Bahrain and its people, emphasizing respect for Bahrain’s sovereignty and the sanctity of its territory.

The President underscored the solidarity of the Palestinian people with their Bahraini brothers and expressed support for any Arab measures aimed at safeguarding the security of Arab countries targeted by Iranian attacks in violation of international law, while emphasizing the importance of dialogue in resolving regional and international disputes.

President Mahmoud Abbas also expressed appreciation for Bahrain’s supportive positions, underlining the depth of the brotherly relations between the two countries and the importance of continued coordination and consultation under the current circumstances.
