NABLUS, December 30, 2025 (WAFA) – Four Palestinians on Tuesday evening sustained injuries from Israeli army fire near Ureif town, south of the occupied West Bank city of Nablus, according to the local sources and the Palestinian Red Crescent Society (PRCS).
Local sources said that Israeli occupation forces opened fire at a vehicle on the road linking Ureif to the nearby village of Einabus, injuring passengers, causing it to veer off its course and setting it on fire.
The PRCS said that its crews managed to provide first aid treatment to three passengers who were seriously injured after being initially prevented from approaching the scene by the soldiers.
The occupying forces barged their way into the town and unleashed a barrage of concussion grenades at a civilian’s family house, injuring an occupant in the face.
The casualty was rushed to a nearby hospital for treatment. There was no immediate information on his condition.
The occupation forces frequently raid Palestinian houses almost daily across the West Bank on the pretext of searching for “wanted” Palestinians, triggering clashes with residents.
These raids are conducted without the need for a search warrant, whenever and wherever the military chooses, in keeping with its sweeping arbitrary powers.
Under Israeli military law, army commanders have full executive, legislative, and judicial authority over 3 million Palestinians living in the West Bank. Palestinians have no say in how this authority is exercised.
