JENIN, September 20, 2025 (WAFA) – Israeli forces closed the Dotan military checkpoint west of Jenin on Saturday morning, blocking all movement to and from the town of Barta'a.
The closure of the checkpoint completely isolated Barta'a and its population of approximately 8,000 from the Jenin Governorate, as it is the only crossing point connecting the town to the city and the rest of the governorate's towns.
