BEIRUT, September 18, 2025 (WAFA) – Israeli warplanes carried out a series of airstrikes on Thursday evening targeting several towns in the Nabatieh Governorate in southern Lebanon, including Meiss El Jabal, Kfar Tebnit, Debbine, and Al-Shihabiya.
According to WAFA correspondent, the airstrikes were intense and also included the use of incendiary bombs in the Al-Labouneh area on the outskirts of Naqoura, located in the western region of southern Lebanon.
The National News Agency (NNA) reported that an Israeli airstrike completely destroyed a building in the town of Kfar Tebnit, causing significant damage to surrounding homes. The warplanes reportedly fired air-to-surface missiles, triggering a massive explosion that echoed across the Nabatieh region and sent thick plumes of smoke into the sky.
The Israeli occupation army had earlier warned residents in southern Lebanon by publishing maps of buildings it claims are at risk of being targeted, effectively forcing civilians to evacuate their homes. No casualties have been confirmed as of the time of this report.
