GAZA, September 14, 2025 (WAFA) – At least 11 Palestinians, including aid seekers, were killed and dozens more injured on Sunday morning as Israeli warplanes and artillery continued strikes on Gaza City and Rafah, according to medical sources and WAFA correspondents.
In one of the deadliest attacks, seven civilians were killed and others injured after an Israeli airstrike targeted a residential building in Al-Hawa neighborhood, in southern Gaza City. Rescue teams continue to search for survivors under the rubble.
In a separate incident, four Palestinians were killed and dozens injured when Israeli forces opened fire on a group of civilians waiting for aid in northern Rafah, in the southern part of the Strip.
Medical sources further reported that at least five more people were killed and 35 injured in a series of ongoing airstrikes and shelling that have struck various parts of Gaza City since early morning. Hospitals continue to receive casualties amid a critical shortage of medical supplies.
Additionally, artillery bombardment is ongoing in southern Khan Younis, with several areas under sustained attack.
WAFA correspondents also confirmed that Israeli forces are intensifying the demolition and destruction of homes in northern Gaza and Gaza City, as part of a continued effort to forcibly displace civilians toward the southern regions of the Strip.
The ongoing Israeli aggression on Gaza since October 2023 has so far resulted in at least 64,840 documented Palestinian fatalities, with over 164,265 others injured.
Thousands of victims are feared trapped under rubble, inaccessible to emergency and civil defense teams due to Israeli attacks.
