GAZA, September 13, 2025 (WAFA) – Hospitals across the Gaza Strip reported seven deaths on Saturday, including two children, due to hunger and malnutrition over the past 24 hours.

This brings the total number of deaths from hunger and malnutrition in the war-torn region to 420, including 145 children. 

Malnutrition cases continue to arrive at hospitals across Gaza around the clock, with 900,000 children suffering from hunger, 70,000 of whom have reached a stage of severe malnutrition.

UNRWA had previously warned that malnutrition among children under five had doubled between March and June due to the ongoing Israeli blockade of the Gaza Strip.
