Elderly man injured by Israeli gunfire at entrance to Tulkarm refugee camp

TULKARM, September 13, 2025 (WAFA) – An elderly Palestinian was injured on Saturday morning by Israeli gunfire at the western entrance to the Tulkarm refugee camp in the occupied West Bank.

The Palestinian Red Crescent reported that its teams received a 60-year-old man who had been shot in the thigh with live ammunition and transported him to a hospital for treatment.

Israeli occupation forces have continued their assault on Tulkarm city and its two refugee camps for the 230th consecutive day, carrying out daily raids, imposing strict military measures, and preventing residents from entering Tulkarm and Nour Shams refugee camps to check their homes and property under live fire threats.

Over the past two days, Tulkarm and its surrounding areas witnessed an escalation of Israeli military violations, including curfews, house raids, wide-scale detentions affecting hundreds of civilians, and demolition of agricultural greenhouses.
