Israeli forces raid Salfit, detain several Fatah officials

SALFIT, September 11, 2025 (WAFA) – Israeli occupation forces (IOF) detain a number of Fatah officials and cadres in Salfit Governorate at dawn on Thursday, during a large-scale raid that targeted several towns.

Local sources reported that IOF detained the Deputy Secretary of Fatah in Salfit, Ahmad Abdul Karim al-Deek (Abu Amid), and Jamal Hammad (Abu Rajai), a member of the movement's Revolutionary Council, from the town of Kafr al-Deek, west of Salfit.

They also detained Bahjat Asi, a Fatah leader, from the town of Qarawat Bani Hassan, west of Salfit, along with three other citizens from the same tow after raiding their homes.

In the village of Masha, west of Salfit, IOF raided the home of Makram Amer, a member of the Fatah Regional Council in the governorate, and ransacked its contents.

It is noteworthy that the occupation forces continue to detain the Secretary of the Fatah Movement in the Salfit region, Abdel Sattar Awad, for the eighth consecutive day.
