HEBRON, September 9, 2025 (WAFA) - Israeli occupation forces on Tuesday bulldozed a tract of Palestinian-owned land in Beit Ummar town, north of the occupied West Bank city of Hebron, according to a media activist.
Mohammed Awad said that the occupying forces escorted a bulldozer to Wadi al-Aran and Khallet Shakhit, located to the north of the town and along the Gush Etzion colonial bloc, where the heavy machinery razed a tract of land purportedly to make room for the expansion of a colonist-only road.
Belonging to the Awad, Brighith, Ina'im, and Abu Ayyash families, the land covers an area of over 300 dunams, some of which is planted with olive and almond trees, in addition to forest trees.
Awad added that since the onset of the Israeli genocidal aggression in the Gaza Strip October 2023 coupled with the upsurge of attacks in the West Bank, the occupation forces have been denying the town's farmers access to their land.
