HEBRON, September 8, 2025 (WAFA) – Israeli occupation forces on Tuesday raided the Traffic Department headquarters and the Yatta Municipality's vehicle inspection station, vandalizing their contents.
The director of the Yatta Dynamometer, Muhammad Saber Abu Aram, told WAFA that the occupation soldiers stormed the department's headquarters, tore up pictures of the late President Yasser Arafat, and seized Palestinian flags and vehicle belongings.
The soldiers also slashed the tires of several Palestinian vehicles, broke the department's seal, and verbally abused employees.
Yattah Mayor Jamil Awad inspected the site and checked on the employees. He condemned these practices, which target service institutions and violate citizens' rights, affirming their commitment to serving the residents despite all the obstacles and challenges.
