JERUSALEM, September 9, 2025 (WAFA) – Israeli occupation forces (IOF) tightened their military measures at the al-Jib military checkpoint, northwest of occupied Jerusalem, on Tuesday.
The Jerusalem Governorate reported that IOF tightened their measures at the checkpoint, stopping and searching Palestinian vehicles, checking their ID cards, and obstructing the passage of vehicles, causing a traffic jam.
IOF continue to close the tunnel connecting the towns of Biddu and al-Jib, obstructing the movement of Palestinian citizens and preventing them from entering or exiting.
This tunnel is the only main road for approximately 70,000 residents in the area northwest of occupied Jerusalem.
