GAZA, September 8, 2025 (WAFA) – At least 40 Palestinian civilians were killed in Israeli airstrikes and machine gunfire that targeted several areas across the Gaza Strip since the early hours of the morning.
According to medical sources, today's fatalities include 25 in northern Gaza, one in central Gaza, and 14 in the southern part of the Strip.
The total number of Palestinians killed since the beginning of the Israeli aggression on October 7, 2023, has risen to 64,522 , the vast majority of whom are women and children. The number of those injured has climbed to 163,096.
Medical sources also confirmed that several victims remain trapped under the rubble of destroyed buildings, as ongoing airstrikes and severe damage to roads continue to hinder the efforts of emergency and civil defense crews.
