KHAN YOUNIS, September 6, 2025 (WAFA) – Four Palestinians were killed on Saturday evening in a series of Israeli airstrikes on Khan Younis in the southern Gaza Strip, bringing the death toll since the early hours of the day to 48, according to medical sources.
In one of the strikes, three people were killed when an Israeli drone targeted a group of civilians on Jamal Abdel Nasser Street in central Khan Younis.
A fourth Palestinian was killed and several others wounded when a vehicle was bombed in the Al-Mawasi area, northwest of the city.
Israeli warplanes also struck a residential building in the Al-Namsawi neighborhood, opposite the Jordanian Field Hospital in western Khan Younis.
Meanwhile, medical sources reported that 48 Palestinians have been killed since dawn in ongoing Israeli airstrikes and shelling across the Gaza Strip.
The ongoing Israeli aggression on Gaza since October 2023 has so far resulted in at least 64,368 documented Palestinian fatalities, with over 162,367 others injured.
Thousands of victims are feared trapped under rubble, inaccessible to emergency and civil defense teams due to Israeli attacks.
