GAZA, September 6, 2025 (WAFA) – The Israeli occupation army once again ordered all Palestinians in Gaza City on Saturday morning to evacuate and head south, as the intensity of the violent shelling continues to escalate, primarily targeting dilapidated residential towers.
In a post on social media, the occupation called on all residents of Gaza City to evacuate south toward the Khan Yunis neighborhood, which it claims is a "humanitarian zone."
In reality, there is no such safe zone exits." The occupation has targeted every place in the Gaza Strip with bombardment, including hospitals, schools, and UN facilities, which have been converted into shelters for the displaced.
The Gaza Strip has been suffering from a catastrophic humanitarian and relief crisis and a severe famine since the occupation closed the crossings on March 2, preventing the entry of food, medicine, aid, and fuel. Approximately 1.5 million of the Strip's 2.4 million citizens have become homeless after their homes were destroyed in the war of extermination.
Displaced families face significant difficulties in transporting the elderly and sick, as well as providing them with basic necessities.
For 700 days, the Israeli occupation army has been committing genocide in Gaza, including widespread killing, starvation, destruction, and displacement, ignoring international appeals and orders from the International Court of Justice to halt the offensive.
The genocide has left more than 200,000 dead and wounded, most of them children and women, and more than 12,000 missing. Hundreds of thousands have been displaced, and famine has claimed numerous lives.
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's statements regarding the displacement of residents from the Gaza Strip have been widely rejected by Palestinians, Arabs, and the international community.
