SALFIT, September 4, 2025 (WAFA) – Israeli occupation forces detained five Palestinians, including the Secretary-General of the Fatah branch in Salfit, Abdul-Sattar Awad, early Thursday morning in Salfit governorate, according to local sources.

Sources reported that Israeli forces raided and searched several homes, stealing 14,200 shekels along with a gold necklace and ring, while damaging the properties and assaulting residents during the raids.

These detentions take place amid ongoing and repeated Israeli occupation raids across multiple towns and villages in the Salfit governorate, often accompanied by home searches and further detentions.
