GAZA, September 3, 2025 (WAFA) – Medical sources in the Gaza Strip announced the deaths of six Palestinians, including a child,  in the past 24 hours due to starvation and malnutrition in the Gaza Strip.

This brings the total number of the starvation-related fatalities to 367, including 131 children.

The ongoing humanitarian crisis in the Gaza Strip continues to worsen, due to the blockade and shortages of food and medical supplies. The severe famine is intertwined with the genocidal war waged by Israel since October 7, 2023.

Since the famine classification in the Gaza Strip issued by the Integrated Food Security Phase Classification (IPC) on 22 August 2025, health authorities have documented 89 deaths, including 16 children,

Since March 2, 2025, the occupying authorities have closed all crossings with the Gaza Strip, blocking the entry of most food and medical aid, further accelerating the spread of famine across the territory.
