GAZA, September 2, 2025 (WAFA) – Medical sources at Al-Shifa Hospital, west of Gaza City, confirmed that 16 Palestinians were killed and a number of others were wounded as a result of airstrikes launched by Israeli occupation forces on various areas in the city.

The sources explained that the hospital received nine bodies and a number of wounded civilians after Israeli aircraft bombed the vicinity of Al-Wahda Stadium in the Tel Al-Hawa neighborhood, southwest of Gaza City.

Seven other slain civilians and wounded others were taken to the hospital after targeting a house in the Sheikh Radwan neighborhood, north of the city.

Since October 7, 2023, the Israeli occupation forces have launched an offensive on the Gaza Strip, killing 63,557 citizens, the majority of whom are children and women, and wounding 160,660 others.

The death toll is not final, as a number of victims remain under the rubble and in the streets, unable to be reached by ambulances and rescue crews.
