RAMALLAH, September 1, 2025 (WAFA) – Israeli occupation forces (IOF) tightened their military measures at the Ein Siniya and Atara checkpoints, north of Ramallah, on Monday morning.
Local sources reported that IOF obstructed the movement of citizens at the checkpoints and randomly stopped and searched vehicles, causing severe traffic congestion.
The number of checkpoints and iron gates installed by the IOF in the West Bank has reached 898, including 18 iron gates installed since the beginning of 2025, and (146) iron gates installed after October 7, 2023, according to the Wall and Settlement Resistance Commission.
