Five injured by live ammunition during Israeli raid on refugee camp in Hebron

HEBRON, August 31, 2025 (WAFA) – Five Palestinians were injured by live ammunition and several others suffocated from tear gas inhalation on Sunday evening during an Israeli military raid on Al-Fawwar refugee camp, south of Hebron, according to local sources.

Sources told WAFA that Israeli forces stormed the camp, amid the firing of live bullets, stun grenades, and tear gas canisters, shooting and injuring five Palestinian residents, including a young woman.

The injured were transferred to Yatta Governmental Hospital for treatment. Dozens of others were treated at the scene for tear gas suffocation.
