GAZA, August 30, 2025 (WAFA) – Israeli occupation forces intensified their aggression against various areas in the Gaza Strip, particularly Gaza City, resulting in the killing of several people and the injury of dozens, including women and children.
Last night, the occupation forces dropped heavy smoke bombs on Gaza City, particularly in its western part, causing the smell of gunpowder to permeate tents, shelters, and homes, and causing nausea among residents.
Occupation fighter jets also launched several violent raids on the Sabra neighborhood in the south of Gaza City, coinciding with the firing of drones in the Third Street area of the Sheikh Radwan neighborhood, northwest of the city. Occupation forces also carried out a fire belt in the Zeitoun neighborhood, east of Gaza City.
Occupation forces continued their bombing of residential buildings in Jabalia al-Nazla, north of the Gaza Strip, using booby-trapped robots to destroy civilian homes.
Israeli forces fired machine guns toward eastern Deir al-Balah in the central Gaza Strip, while Israeli fighter jets bombed a residential apartment belonging to the Daoud family in the Shawa Hasri tower in the al-Karama area, northwest of Gaza City, killing a woman and her child and wounding others.
Meanwhile, rescue crews recovered the body of another civilian from the same tower.
Local sources reported that young Kamel Issam Madi died of injuries sustained in the bombing of his family's tent in the Mawasi area of Rafah.
Late at night, the occupation forces bombed the home of the al-Hafi family in the al-Nuseirat refugee camp in the central Gaza Strip, killing five citizens and wounding or missing others. Among those killed were Baraa al-Hafi, Abdullah Fayed, his wife Shaima al-Hafi, and her two daughters.
Numerous injuries were reported as a result of gunfire targeting displaced persons' tents in the Asdaa area, northwest of Khan Yunis. Young Younis al-Khalidi was killed in a bombing targeting Gaza City.
Al-Awda Hospital reported that it had received eight slain Palestinians, including three children, and 40 wounded, including nine women, over the past 24 hours, as a result of Israeli forces targeting civilian gatherings at a humanitarian aid distribution point south of Wadi Gaza in the central Gaza Strip.
