JERUSALEM, August 29, 2025 (WAFA) – Israeli occupation forces raided the Professional Unions Complex in the town of Beit Hanina, north of Jerusalem, on Friday, where they barred the Palestinian Medical Association's elections from being held.
The Palestinian Authority's Jerusalem Governorate reported that Israeli intelligence and police stormed the complex, preventing the elections of the Palestinian Medical Association and detaining Dr. Samir Mutawer.
Elections for the Palestinian Medical Association were scheduled today across all governorates to elect a new head of the association.
