NABLUS, August 27, 2025 (WAFA) – Israeli forces this evening attacked several Palestinian residents in the town of Sebastia northwest of Nablus during a large-scale military raid that has continued for over 24 hours, a local official said.

Mohammad Azem, head of the village council, told WAFA that Israeli forces raided the town over 24 hours ago, converting some homes into military posts and stationing snipers on the rooftops of others.

Since yesterday evening, Israeli soldiers have raided and searched dozens of homes, destroying their contents and assaulting residents. One of the victims was transferred to a hospital for treatment due to his serious condition. The forces also conducted field interrogations with dozens of citizens.

Israeli troops also raided several commercial shops, stealing cash and merchandise.
