RAMALLAH, August 25, 2026 (WAFA) – Several journalists were injured today while covering Israeli forces' takeover of the UNRWA-run Kalandia Training Centre, north of occupied Jerusalem.
Journalistic sources reported that several journalists were injured while covering the Israeli forces' raid and forced eviction of the compound, amid tight military measures in the surrounding area.
Israeli forces raided the UNRWA compound in Qalandia this morning and began its forced eviction as part of measures aimed at taking control of the site, amid a heavy military presence in the area. Forces also raised the Israeli flag over its buildings.
