GAZA, August 27, 2025 (WAFA) – Several Palestinian civilians were killed and wounded this Wednesday morning in Israeli air and ground shelling across the Gaza Strip.
WAFA correspondents reported, citing medical sources, that two civilians were killed and others were wounded in Israeli artillery shelling of a house in the Daraj neighborhood of Gaza City.
The same sources added that a number of civilians were wounded when an Israeli drone bombed a tent housing displaced persons in the Sheikh Radwan neighborhood.
The Israeli occupation also continues to bomb homes in the Zeitoun and Sabrah neighborhoods south of Gaza City with booby-trapped robots, coinciding with ongoing artillery shelling.
A short while ago, a child was killed near Kissufim, east of Deir al-Balah, in the central Gaza Strip.
Three citizens from the Abu Jarad family, including a child and a woman, were killed in Israeli shelling of a tent housing displaced persons in the Asdaa area, north of Khan Yunis.
Artillery shelling and gunfire from Israeli vehicles continue north of Khan Yunis.
At least 70 citizens have been killed by Israeli fire and airstrikes since dawn yesterday, Tuesday.
Since October 7, 2023, the occupation has been committing genocide in Gaza, including killing, starvation, destruction, and forced displacement, ignoring all international calls and orders from the International Court of Justice to halt the operation.
