BETHLEHEM, August 26, 2025 (WAFA) – Israeli occupation forces delivered demolition notices this evening targeting shops and commercial structures in the village of Husan, west of Bethlehem.
Ramzi Hamamra, head of the Husan Village Council, told WAFA that the notices affect several shops and commercial facilities located in the al-Mashahid area, at the western entrance to the village. He confirmed that these properties belong to local Palestinian residents.
The threatened demolitions come as part of the wider Israeli policy of curtailing Palestinian development in the occupied West Bank, which severely undermines the livelihoods of residents and restricts economic activity.
