At least seven Palestinians killed, dozens injured in Israeli strikes on northern and central Gaza

GAZA, August 24, 2025 (WAFA) – At least seven Palestinians were killed and dozens more injured on Sunday evening by Israeli occupation forces' fire in the northern and central Gaza Strip.

Medical sources reported that six  people were killed and 86 others were injured as a result of the occupation's targeting of people waiting for humanitarian aid in the northern Gaza Strip.

In a separate incident, one Palestinian was killed and several others were injured following Israel's targeting of people waiting for aid east of Deir al-Balah, in the central Gaza Strip.

Since March 2, 2025, the occupation authorities have closed all crossings with the Gaza Strip, blocking the entry of most food and medical aid, causing widespread famine within the Strip.

Since October 7, 2023, the occupation forces have launched an offensive on the Gaza Strip, resulting in the killing of 62,686 Palestinians, the majority of whom were children and women, with 157,951 reported injured.

Hundreds of victims still under the rubble and on the streets, unable to be reached by ambulance and rescue crews.
